2005-12-05 [Paz]: Take the picture you're wanting to upload, as [iippo] said, save it to your hard drive. Then upload it using the form at the bottom of the wiki. It's just like uploading an image to your house** (ack, wrong use of words)
2005-12-05 [iippo]: But if you have uploaded the image to your house, there really is no need to upload it again to /stuff - it already has a URL that you can use to show the image. If on the other hand you have a larger version of it that you'd prefer to show to people, then upload that bigger image from your hard disk. Don't forget to add .jpg or .gif to your image-name.
2005-12-05 [nokaredes]: And you have to make sure someone else hasn't used the /stuff name.
2005-12-06 [iippo]: Which is easy by just punching in random numbers or putting your username in the filename.
2005-12-07 [David the Good]: How do I place this in a wiki:
2005-12-07 [David the Good]: <script language="Java
2005-12-07 [Paz]: You use ET friendly HTML, not normal HTML, you seem to be trying to change your stylesheet or background. If you want to change your background see Elftownstylesheets and to see what HTML is usable on Elftown see: Guide to the Pseudo HTML on Elftown. Which makes things a whole lot easier actually because you don't have to worry about the 'a href' and colour codes. (Note: the style sheet is the whole background for every page on ET)
2005-12-07 [Nita]: Elftown pseudo HTML doesn't support JavaScript for security reasons, so your code won't work on a normal wiki page. It will work on an exported raw HTML wiki page, though.
2006-06-10 [iippo]: Sorry to be all foreign and stuff, but what is UTC? Elftown's time?
2006-06-10 [True, plain and simple]: Universal Coordinated Time, formerly Greenwich Mean Time. And Elftown uses it for the time, jah. It's the "center" time of the world. :)
2006-06-10 [iippo]: Bah, two acronyms for the same thing. -_-
2006-06-10 [True, plain and simple]: Well, Greenwich thought it was all the shiznit and it went to its head, so.. ;)
2006-06-10 [Hedda]: Well, there is a problem with Greenwich and that it's in UK that uses Daylight saving in the summer. So it's a little confusing to use that name. I think UTC is the standard now.
2006-06-10 [True, plain and simple]: Yeah, I thought it was something like that. UTC is more clear in meaning anyway.
2006-06-10 [iippo]: If you know what it means, that is :P
2006-06-10 [True, plain and simple]: Better? :P
2006-06-10 [iippo]: You do realise that Universal Cordinated Time is UCT, not UTC. o.O; (but the linky is a good idea :3)
2006-06-10 [True, plain and simple]: Well, it should actually be something like Universal Time Coordonné, because it's an English-French hybridization. That looks icky though, so the all-English is better. :P
2006-08-28 [Zana]: No one loves me
2006-08-28 [iippo]: Please [Zana], that is the third time I've seen this comment from you today, do stop spamming. Go to a wiki that is more appropriate. The wiki´s wiki page has a lot of links for you to start looking from, whether you are looking for love or just a place to whine in.
